Telecine Mastering / Color Correction / Scanning

For almost two decades Modern Videofilm has been setting the standard for film to tape mastering.  Our high technical standards and talented staff have pleased many demanding Directors and Producers.  In November 1995, MVF opened a specially designed Glendale facility to service studio clients in the preparation of product for electronic distribution.  Today, the Glendale facility not only sets the pace in feature mastering for D-Cinema and home distribution, but also provides a wide array of support services like film scanning, film recording, down conversions, QC, and duplication to almost any video or electronic file format.  Modern also provides a 33 seat D-Cinema theatre with a Stewart 24 foot micro-perf screen.

Dailies / File Creation / Edit Prep

Modern tackles the rigorous schedules and complex technical requirements of transferring film to tape dailies.  Whether high definition or standard, Modern's Burbank facility currently provides electronic dailies for single camera projects as well as multi camera situation comedies, providing flex files and detailed data for use in television and feature film editorial process on a day-to-day basis.   Our highly capable crews are staffed 24 hours a day - to be sure you get your dailies on time and on target.
